Portrait of David Wood – 20” x 24” Oil on Panel 1990. David posed for several portraits and this one is painted from life. The heightened colours are exaggerated in order to create a psychedelic effect that is nonetheless still very three-dimensional.

‘It’s your shout.’ A Portrait of Roger Butt – 24” x 24” Oil on Panel 1996. I painted this porrtrait from life and several years later a background was added. Roger, nicknamed ‘The Dodger’ by his associates is now seen in his natural habitat, at the bar in the Rochester Castle.
