Enigmatic Still-Life – Oil on Panel – 23″ x 14″ – 2011.

This painting began as a studio still-like. I was never quite sure what to do with it then i had the idea of putting in a coastal setting. The peacefulness of the sea offsets the tension between the hardness of the bronze and the softness of the banaanas.
